Your Skills

Handling projects at Empact requires project management and product owner skills. The ability to structure and prioritise your work in a, at times, hectic environment will be beneficial. What you need to succeed in the job is to have/be:

Need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager
  • Strive to deliver customer centric projects within agreed time, scope, and quality
  • Self-driven and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex, technical discussions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and related tasks in parallel
  • Used to work with Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Strong communication skills in English and Danish

Nice to have:

  • Used to work with Atlassian products (i.e., Jira and Confluence)
  • Work with change and improvements on a process level
  • Work in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment
  • SCRUM certified PO or SCRUM Master

Your Tasks

You will be part of the project management team driving customer faced projects and deliveries from the point when a deal is closed by our sales department until it’s delivered in production and documented. In order to cover both the Standard as a solution plus customizations, you will be expected to drive customer engagement covering not only project delivery, but also dialogues with the customer concerning maintenance, change requests and further add-on features after a project has been delivered.

Tasks includes:

  • Manage the customer engagement after Sales has made first contact and sketched the initial requirements by understanding the customer’s needs
  • Organize a SCRUM-team based on the requirements collected
  • Plan estimation workshops and further refine the requirements with the tech-team
  • Create budget and allocations based on the estimations
  • Plan scope and milestones
  • Handle change requests arising during the lifetime of a project
  • Manage dependencies and mitigate risks internally as well as externally
  • Deliver through the Agile iterative delivery process (SCRUM and Sprints)
  • Constantly communicating with our customers to align expectations and to reach project milestones
  • Ensure internal alignment with other project managers
  • UAT planning, execution and sign-off
  • Facilitate go-live through delivery management
