DDAC 2026 at Bella Centret
DDAC 2026 took place at Bella Arena in Copenhagen and was the largest edition of the conference at the time, attracting around 1,000 participants and 100 exhibitors from Danish and international defense companies.
Søren, Jacob and Sofia represented Empact throughout the two days. The conference gave us plenty of opportunities to reconnect with existing contacts, meet new people and follow discussions about the direction of the Danish and European defense industry.
We were pleased to see the continued growth of the event and the strong turnout across both the conference and networking areas.
DDAC 2025 in Aalborg
In 2025, DDAC returned to Aalborg, where Jacob, Sofia, Emma and Per represented Empact.
The conference combined a busy meeting schedule with talks and discussions from across the defense community. For us, it was another useful opportunity to meet familiar faces, make new connections and hear different perspectives on the developments shaping the industry.
Interest in DDAC had grown significantly by 2025. DI later reported that attendance in Aalborg was around twice the level of the 2024 conference in Copenhagen, with a waiting list for participation.
Balloons, interviews and conversations in Copenhagen
DDAC 2024 took place at Industriens Hus in Copenhagen on 7–8 February. The conference brought together more than 300 participants from defense, government and industry.
Søren, Jacob, Per, Sofia and Cecilie attended for Empact. Alongside the meetings and conference program, we brought a slightly different element to our presence that year: a balloon artist creating defense-themed balloons at the stand.
We also recorded interviews with military and industry representatives during the conference and produced an event video capturing some of the conversations and atmosphere from the two days.
Product demos at DDAC 2023
In 2023, DDAC was held in Aalborg. Empact used the conference to meet with the industry and demonstrate our software directly at the stand. DI’s own reporting confirms Aalborg as the host city for that year’s conference.
