The event is organized as part of the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation’s (FMI/DALO) “Open for Business” initiative. Visitors can meet FMI representatives, operational units, international delegations and companies working across the defence sector. The exhibition covers areas including land, maritime, air and space, communications, IT, cyber, test equipment, support equipment and new defence technologies. The event has grown considerably since it was first held in 2016. In 2025, it attracted more than 700 exhibiting companies and 14,000 participants. Its continued growth led to the event moving from Ballerup to MCH Messecenter Herning for the first time in 2026. Our ice cream machine also returned, giving visitors a good reason to stop by the Empact stand between meetings.
