Job Summary:
We are looking for a Java/J2EE developer who is responsible for building Java based applications using Java 8+, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate and REST services. Primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications and our Empact platform. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
Your skills:

You'll have a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

You'll have 3+ years of software development experience and 1+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework

You'll have experience with Spring framework, Hibernate/JPA, Maven
-
You'll have hands on development of RESTful Web-Services using JSON and deployment to web servers (e.g. Tomcat)

You’ll have experience working with SQL databases, query optimization & designing schemas
-
You’ll be passionate about product and user experience - customers are at the heart of what you do and empathy drives your decisions

You’ll have high coding standards.
Additional experience within the following is an advantage, but not a requirement:

You'll have used Source control tools (GIT) for keeping track of all your code.

You’ll have used continuous integration tools: Jenkins Continuous Integration server for code deployment, SonarQube for code analyses, other similar tools.

You have used JIRA and Confluence to keep track of tasks.

You have worked with JAVA, Tomcat, Maven configuration in UNIX systems.

You have experience in following logs and performance statistics for JAVA applications in UNIX system.
